Hello, SensoMamas!
This month has had us reflecting on how SensoBaby can best serve the community whilst taking care of our own families.
Caroline will be in the UK throughout May and will be returning as Priyanka heads off on maternity leave. Jennifer will be leading classes.
Though we aren’t launching any new classes as of yet, we will be looking at the overall calendar shortly. For now, here are some details about the upcoming term…
Open Morning:
We’re hosting one more open morning this term, on Monday 15 May from 10-11am. This is a holiday play class where you can come and see some of your SensoBaby friends and also learn about what we’ve got in store for you in the new term. Registration forms will also be available if you’d like to sign up for your favourite class(es).
Term Start:
This term will run for 10 weeks versus the regular 12-13, with most classes starting a week later.
Our official start of term will be on Monday 22 May 2017. Kindermusik starts the following week as Thursday 25 May is a holiday (Ascension Day). We will be closed the week of July 17 for the President’s Day holiday, and the term will end on Monday 7 August.
Membership:
Membership will be only P550 this term (the same as a 10-class pass) AND with it you’ll receive some amazing benefits from partner businesses including Usborne Books, Edutoys, Crystal Paul Photography, Strawberry Salon and more. A complete list of the benefits will be available online by the start of the term.
Class Passes:
Class passes will still be available for P540 or P270 (5 classes). They can be used now or carried into next term.

We also have some very exciting new initiatives launching this term to look forward to. Here’s a snapshot:
Cuppa Love:
SensoBaby is proud to be part of an amazing global campaign to promote the importance of love and secure attachment for babies, children and parents. Through free monthly coffee mornings we aim to create a sense of belonging for new parents so they can feel loved and help their children to understand these values through them.
The first Cuppa Love coffee morning is scheduled for Friday 2nd June from 10am-12pm.
Pilates With Jess:
SensoMama Jessica Bateman is going to teach a Pilates mat class at SensoBaby. Anyone is welcome, but the exercises will focus on healing a postpartum body. It will be a 5-week course on Wednesday mornings from 9:00-9:45am, starting May 24. Learn more here and get in contact with Jennifer if you’d like to register.
SensoNana:
This past term has shown us that our SensoNanas are really ready for more. Therefore from this term we won’t be offering a separate 9:30am class for SensoNanas. Instead, the Monday 10:30 class will include activities for our littlest lovelies. Mothers with newborns who aren’t yet ready for the 10:30 SensoBaba are invited to come to the monthly Cuppa Love coffee morning.
Monkeynastix:
The beloved action play class based on gymnastics is doing a FREE taster class on Monday 15 May at 10am. All walking toddlers 12m+ are invited to come and discover what a class would be like. The Monkeynastix 10-week term then returns on Monday 22 May from 10-10:30am.
SensoMini-2:
SensoMini-2 is moving from 10am to 10:30am. This is to allow us more time to change over between classes and give us time to have a comfort break! The early class will continue to start at 9am.
Though the weather is quickly turning cold, we will always have a warm space for you and your child at SensoBaby. We hope you’re as excited about this new term as we are.
Baby Confidence Course:
This brand new program for expectant mums will be running on Tuesday evenings in June. Based on the idea of responsive parenting, this course will help parents-to-be build strong, positive bonds with their child. They’ll learn calming techniques for parents and baby, build confidence in becoming a parent and make friends.
We’ve missed seeing everyone, and are excited about the term start so that we can reconnect with you. Have an amazing Mother’s Day and we will catch up with you soon!
All the best,
The SensoBaby Team
